Crepe Wrapped Breakfast Sausage with Whipped Sharp Cheddar Spread, Wilted Kale and Apples

A crepe filled with SPECIAL RECIPE® 1.3oz Fully Cooked Chicken Sausage Link on a creamy cheese spread with apples and kale.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients
  1. SPECIAL RECIPE® 1.3oz Fully Cooked Chicken Sausage Link, Halal Certified (137341)
  2. Frozen crepes or from scratch
  3. Shredded cheddar, shredded
  4. Cream cheese
  5. Cream or milk
  1. Green onions, sliced
  2. Apple, sliced
  3. Butter
  4. Kale, chopped
  5. Champagne vinegar

STEP ONE

Add cheddar cheese and cream cheese to a food processor and blend until combined. Add milk or cream until spreadable. Season with salt and pepper as needed and stir in the sliced green onions, reserve.

STEP TWO

Defrost the crepes and slightly warm them so they are pliable. Wrap two sausage links per one crepe. Lay crepes on a sprayed sheet pan and roast in a 300°F oven until heated through.

STEP THREE

Sauté apples in butter until lightly softened.  Toss in the chopped kale and vinegar, to taste.

STEP FOUR

Spread cheese on the plate, place the sausage crepe on the cheese and garnish with the kale and apple salad.
